Italian pesto sauce from Tuscany

This is my family's favorite Italian pesto sauce. I got this recipe on my trip to Tuscany, Tenuta Quarrata, Capannoli Italy. What a great trip I had with my old schoolmates, sharing memories and making new ones. One of the activities we did was cooking homemade Italian food with pasta and pesto sauce. Today I use the recipes as often as I can (not always time to make the pasta), but nothing beats making your own pesto sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 50 g basil leaves
  • 3 spoons of pecorino cheese
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • pine nuts
  • Garlic (optional)
  • 1 tsp Detox Deluxe
Do this:

Take clean and well-dried basil leaves and add to the blender. Add pecorino cheese (3 spoons), Parmesan cheese (50 gr), olive oil, salt, pine nuts and garlic (optional). Stir well on lowest speed until creamy. Then add 1 teaspoon of Detox Deluxe (it's the one that gives the extra green touch). We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Have a nice day!
